Gliese 1062 is a M-type subdwarf star in the constellation Eridanus. The star has a total proper motion of 3.033 "/yr, making it the 25th fastest-moving star in terms of angular position as seen from Earth, and its radial velocity is -18 km/s. At a distance of about 52 light years (16 parsecs) and with an absolute magnitude of 13.1, this star has an apparent magnitude of 14.6 when viewed from Earth.

The star is also known as LHS 20 and Ross 578.
