Glasgow College of Nautical Studies was a further education college of nautical and maritime studies, and a provider of marine and offshore training courses. It merged with Central College and Glasgow Metropolitan College in 2010 to form City of Glasgow College. Degree courses, in subjects including Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, were offered in association with the University of Strathclyde.

The college's main building was located on Thistle Street on the south bank of the River Clyde in central Glasgow in western Scotland.

The college motto was 'Nautical and So Much More' which tried to encapsulate the breadth of courses offered. Courses were offered in Beauty Care, Business, Childcare, Computing, Electronics, Social Science, Sport and Leisure amongst others.

This college had outreach campuses in Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh for its HND program.

It was announced on 26 March 2009, that the college would merge with Glasgow Central and Glasgow Metropolitan colleges. The proposed date of merger was August 1st 2010.[1]

The three colleges were also planning to build a £300,000,000 new campus. They had the support of Glasgow City Council and the Scottish Funding Council.[2][3]
