Gladys Gunzer (November 12, 1939 – June 13, 2016) was an American medalist and sculptor. She was born in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and studied fine arts at the Women's College of the University of North Carolina. She created the 1984 Centennial and Third Millennial medals for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the 1980 Winter Olympics medal. From 1974-1989, Gunzer worked for the Medallic Art Company, afterwards doing freelance work.
