Vice Admiral Girish Luthra is an Indian Navy officer, currently serving as Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command
He joined the Navy in 1979. He has commanded the ships INS Khukri, INS Talwar as well as the aircraft carrier INS Viraat.
He served as Flag Officer Commanding Southern Naval Command before being appointed to Western Naval Command. Prior to this he was the Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Operations).
