Giovanni Ricciardi (born 14 June 1977 in Castellammare di Stabia, Province of Naples) is an Italian painter.

Painter Giovanni Ricciardi graduates in 1998 at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples . Ricciardi begins to show his work since 1995. The environment he’s sourrounded by is filled by stimuli, art lectures, meetings with art historians and critics. His works have been exposed in national and international shows, in institutional centers and museums: at the National Museum of Naples, at the Museo di Pietrarsa and the Convitto Nazionale, Palazzo delle stelline in Milan, Palazzo delle Esposizioni of Rome, La balle au Bond Paris, at the Iraqi Academy of Baghdad and the Museum of modern art of Saitama, Tokyo. In 1998 the painter Giovanni Ricciardi is invited by Alik Cavaliere to show his work at Fondazione Stelline in Milan where he meets the greatest Italian masters of the period as Emilio Tadini, Enrico Baj. The first act of “Steady Link Project” is performed in Baghdad in 2002 at the Academy of Fine arts. The work in progress is a project that comprehends installations and performances. Ricciardi’s first solo show is called “L’inganno dei Sensi” at the MA Gallery in Naples in 2003. At the same time he is called to manage the artistic direction “Mare dei Popoli”, a periodical interested in Arabic and Islamic culture (Edizioni Ritualia). In 2001 Ricciardi participates "Patafluens"(Casalmaggiore), the international meeting of Pataphysics, under the artistic direction of Enrico Baj, and collaborates with the College de 'Pataphysique. In 2007 he becomes a Pataphysicist granted at the Istitutum Pataphysicum Partenopeo di Napoli by Mario Persico. In 2008 he founded in Milan the Autoclave di Estrazioni Patafisiche of which is appointed Reggente Patastrofico. In 2013 realizes Patakosmos project, a web portal about pataphysics world.
