Giorgos Vaitsis (Greek: Γιώργος Βαΐτσης; born 1 August 1967), is a retired Greek footballer. A powerful striker, he is mainly remembered for his good headers and his shooting skills.

Vaitsis played for Anagennisi Artas, Panachaiki and Olympiacos.

Statistics

Giorgos Vaitsis had 139 First Division appearances for Panachaiki and scored 29 goals. He had 1 cap for the Greece national football team. His most prominent and celebrated goal was in the second round of the 1992-93 European Cup Winners Cup, when he scored the winning goal for Olympiacos Pireus with a header, against Monaco, in France.
