Gio Matteo Natoli was a Sicilian knight and gentleman from Termini, now in the province of Palermo. He was a successful corsair, and became wealthy. He retired to Sant'Angelo Muxaro. His brothers Giovan Forte and Francesco were bankers and dealers in tuna.
