The Gibson Country Western is an acoustic guitar model manufactured by the Gibson Guitar Corporation.
History
Gibson introduced the Country Western guitar in 1956. The guitar is essentially a Southern Jumbo with a natural finish. It features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood bridge and fingerboard. In late 1962, they switched from slope-shouldered to square-shouldered. Sheryl Crow is a notable user, and Gibson has issued a reissue Country Western bearing her name.
