Gianmaria Scapin (born on 6 November 1956 in Vicenza) is an eclectic Italian creative industries manager, blogger, ecommerce and web consultant .
Degree in Economics at the L. Bocconi University of Milan, II level University master's degree in Wellness and Nutrition at the University of Pisa.
He worked as Marketing Director at Amplifon SPA, Brand Manager at the Corriere della Sera and Unilever, Web Marketing Director at Baldini & Castoldi and Libri Scheiwiller publisher. He has developed and implemented the diagnosis via web tools for the dermatology department along with Professor Carlo Gelmetti as the project leader of "Scientific Innovation" within the guidelines parameters of the Direzione Scientifica of Fondazione IRCCS Ca' Granda.
He taught Business Games and Business Simulation programs in many Universities and Business Schools. In the second half of nineties (1996-1999) he oversaw the final session of Master in Business Administration at the Cranfield University.
He cooperates as a volunteer in programs with the United Nations Volunteers. As Vice President of VSP, currently is in charge of developing countries missions.
He participated, as athlete representative of Italy, in the Trans-Atlantic Windsurf Race 2000 the relay race from Europe to Brazil to celebrate the 500 Years of Brazil's Discovery, for team Europe. The race was hit by an "Imperfect Storm" and became a misadventure.
