The Ghost Hunt Weekends (GHW) is one of the largest paranormal promotion event companies in the world, primarily focused on hosting paranormal fan events ranging from celebrity ghost hunts, bigfoot hunts to overnight paranormal and ghost hunting events and producing events worldwide. Based in the United States, the company's principal business operations consist of specialty paranormal events with television paranormal reality show cast members at locations featured on those shows.

Popularity and growth

In May 2011, Ghost Hunt Weekends was issued a trademark certificate from the State of Tennessee and the attempt to brand the Ghost Hunt Weekends name with paranormal events began.

The first Ghost Hunt Weekends event was held in 2011 in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee at the Thomas House Hotel and featured Syfy Channel's Ghost Hunters stars Amy Bruni and Steve Gonsalves. The event was greeted with larger than expected success. An announcement of more events followed, and the Ghost Hunt Weekends name and fan base grew with popularity with every event.

With an internet radio deal in 2012 with the Global Radio Alliance/KGRA and expansion into Europe, Ghost Hunt Weekends was gaining in popularity, along with greater coverage. As of 2012 all Ghost Hunt Weekends events are covered by the Global Radio Alliance/KGRA by way of Live streaming video including night vision and thermal cameras, Live Radio Commentary and Interactive Chat Rooms, with Ghost Hunt Weekends being the only event company in the field to do so.

In September 2012, the Ghost Hunt Weekends announced another major exclusive sponsorship deal with GhostHuntIR, providing Ghost Hunt Weekends with Thermal and Night Vision Cameras including FLIR available for rentals to fans at events.
