Ghent /ˈɛnt/ is a census-designated place (CDP) in Raleigh County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2010 census, its population was 457.

History

The community's name commemorates the Treaty of Ghent. On January 30, 2007, the Flat Top Little General Store (a local convenience store) on U.S. Route 19 exploded, killing four people and injuring several others, near the Winterplace Ski Resort.
