Player career

Titov started his National Hockey League career with the Calgary Flames in 1993. He also played for the Edmonton Oilers, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and Pittsburgh Penguins. He left the NHL after the 2002 season. He went back to the team he had played for before coming to the NHL, Voskresensk Khimik, and played there until the end of 2004–05.

Coaching career

In the 2014–15 season, he was the head coach of Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the Kontinental Hockey League. In the 2015–16 season (until October 2016), he was the head coach for Spartak Moscow.
