Gerard Huerta is an American typographer and graphic designer. He is a graduate of Art Center College of Design. His first job was working for CBS Records, where he designed album covers and created logos and lettering for numerous artists including Ted Nugent, the Isley Brothers, Blue Öyster Cult, and Boston. He also designed or updated company logos such as that of Nabisco. Probably his best-known is the logo for the band AC/DC, which he designed in 1977. His illustrated cover for the album Chicago XIV, art directed by John Berg, hangs in the permanent collection at MOMA (the Museum of Modern Art.)
