George Henry Hirst (17 May 1879, Elsecar – 13 November 1933, Darfield, South Yorkshire), possibly actually called George Harry Hirst, was a British politician, elected Labour Member of Parliament for Wentworth when the constituency was created in 1918.

George Henry Hirst was a checkweighman, and a member of Yorkshire Miners' Association. He was elected MP for Wentworth on 18 December 1918, and held the seat until his death, aged 54, in 1933.

Hirst married twice and had 16 children, 12 by his second wife.
