George Griffiths ((1865-04-11)11 April 1865 – 7 July 1918) was a Welsh amateur football inside left who played for Chirk. He won one international cap for Wales.

Personal life

Griffiths worked as a miner and had eight children. He also served in the Royal Welch Fusiliers. He served in the Royal Army Service Corps during the First World War and was discharged in 1917, dying the following year.
