George Vincent Gerard, (24 November 1898 – 14 January 1984) was the seventh Anglican Bishop of Waiapu, serving from 1938 to 1944.

Gerard was educated at Christ's College, Christchurch and Brasenose College, Oxford. After fighting with the Buffs in the First World War, he was ordained in 1923 and embarked on his ecclesiastical career with a curacy in Timaru. Later he was Vicar of Pahiatua then Petone and finally (before his appointment to the episcopate) of St Matthew, Auckland. During the Second World War he was a prisoner of war at Vincigliata in Italy. After resigning his See he was Rural Dean of Rotherham and an assistant bishop in the Diocese of Sheffield until his retirement in 1960.
