George Dayton


George Dayton (born 1827, died 1938) lived in Union Township in what is now Rutherford, New Jersey, and represented Bergen County in the New Jersey Senate from 1875 to 1877. Dayton moved to Closter, New Jersey, in 1890 and became the clerk of Harrington Township, New Jersey.

George Dayton is the great grandson of Jonathan Dayton and great great grandson of Elias Dayton.
