Geoffrey A Dyer

Geoffrey A. Dyer, born in Melbourne, Australia, is the founder and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lifestyle Family Fitness.

In 1982, a member of a gym where Dyer had worked (Jack Hall) had offered him to become partners in a new gym in Lakeland, Florida. After a year, their relationship deteriorated to the point that Dyer was legally forced out of the company. However, by 1985 Hall realized he needed Dyer and an agreement was reached to bring Dyer back into the company.

Dyer later sold the chain, prior to it being bought by LAFitness, and in 2012 opened AussieFIT in Columbus, Ohio.
