Genomics plc is a spin-out company from the University of Oxford founded in 2014 by Professors Peter Donnelly and Gilean McVean, with the aim of creating a platform that can use genetic and phenotypic big data coupled with advanced algorithms to elucidate the human wiring diagram. The company has raised around £10M in funding and is using its platform to help pharmaceutical companies improve and de-risk their drug development pipelines as well supporting other prominent projects such as the Genomics England 100,000 Genomes project.
