General leopold von flockenstuffen top 7 facts

General Leopold von Flockenstuffen is a fictional character in the BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo!, which ran from 1982 to 1992. He was played by the actor Ken Morley. He appeared in six episodes of the fifth, sixth and seventh series of the series.

When von Flockenstuffen arrives, it is made apparent that he previously knew Lieutenant Gruber, and the two begin to make innuendos to one another regarding homosexuality.

General von Flockenstuffen is introduced in the episode "Watch the Birdie" and retired in "An Almighty Bang". In his first episode, he is revealed to be a "bit this way and that" like Gruber. He is a former member of the Condor Legion. In Free at Last!, he and a fellow General form a recklessly daring plan to abduct Winston Churchill from Bognor Regis in England while Klinkerhoffen is on medical leave, planning to have von Strohm, Gruber and Bertorelli take part in the operation as a suicide squad to create a diversion. Fortunately, the plan never comes into action as they help Klinkerhoffen escape from the institution and von Flockenstuffen goes mad after being blown up.

The other minor General characters introduced at the same time as von Flockenstuffen are General Wilhelm von Walkenstiffen, Air Chief Marshal Maximilian von Winkelmeister, Admiral Ulrich von Sinkenquicken, and (French) General Jean-Louis Marcel Aznavour (at first impersonated by Crabtree).
