The General Convention of the New Jerusalem is a Christian religious organization incorporated in 1861 in Illinois. It is a member of the National Council of Churches of Christ in the USA.

The organization is a confederation of churches that follow the theological writings of Emanuel Swedenborg. The members of this group are often called Swedenborgian. This organization is also legally known as the Swedenborgian Church of the United States and Canada. Which is one of several groups that read and follow the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg.

The Swedenborgian Church exists to help people be open to the Lord’s presence and leading, especially by fostering personal and ordained ministries which facilitate the spiritual well-being of people, and which have in common a working for the Lord in bringing in the New Age, the descent of the Holy City, New Jerusalem.
