Gartcairn Football Academy

Gartcairn Football Academy was created in 2007 by Robert McCallum. The team was first created back in 1989 again with Robert McCallum and a few colleagues from the now gone Fine Fare Superstore. From the academy point of view it started with the ethos "no trials=no rejection=happy children". This ethos was heavily enforced, and still is, as any coach who joins the academy believe they have no right to tell a child that they are not good enough to play football. The ethos of the club remains the same to this day, however the motto changed to "those who wish to play, shall play".
