Garrha rufescens is a moth in the Oecophoridae family. It was described by Turner in 1946. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Tasmania.
The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are reddish with fuscous, obscure markings. The stigmata is minute, the first discal spot at one-third, the plical beyond it and the second discal at three-fifths. There is a basal dorsal spot and another median near the base. There are also obscure slender irregular transverse lines at one-third and two-thirds and a slender slightly dentate line from the midcosta, subcostal to near the termen, then bent to three-fourths of the dorsum. There is a terminal series of minute dots. The hindwings are grey.
