Gaoping Town (simplified Chinese: 高坪镇; traditional Chinese: 高坪鎮; pinyin: Gaoping Zhen) is an urban town in Liuyang City, Changsha City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China. As of the 2000 census it had a population of 33,694 and an area of 257.5 square kilometers.

The town is divided into 16 villages and 1 community, the following areas: Gaoping Community, Yangtan Village, Nanhuayuan Village, Chuancang Village, Shiwan Village, Hexi Village, Xiangyang Village, Xinjian Village, Nanfeng Village, Zhimin Village, Yandian Village, Daping Village, Zhushuqiao Village, Ma'an Village, Taohua Village, Shuangjiang Village, and Sanheshui Village (高坪社区，杨潭村、南花园村、船仓村、石湾村、河西村、向阳村、新建村、南枫村、志民村、沿甸村、大坪村、株树桥村、马鞍村、桃花村、双江村和三合水村).
