The Swarm is the eighth book in the Galaxy of Fear series by John Whitman set in the Star Wars galaxy shortly after Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

Trivia

Zak was not responsible for the swarm, as a pile of dead shreevs was discovered at the end of the story.

Grand Admiral Thrawn appears in the story. Zak, Tash and Hoole wisely decide not to board his Star Destroyer when given the chance.
