Biography

From Germany, Gabrielle comes from a modest family and grew up in a small village. She dreams of travel and has a thirst for adventure. At age 15 she made her first purchase: a travel bag.
At 17, she left the family nest and moved to Cologne where she pursued her studies in the human science. Rebellious character, she does not agree to be part of a class and wants to stand out from others. She likes old fashion clothes and goes frequently in "second hand" shops in order to perfect her style. Her way to stand out.

Need for change, at age 22, she left Germany and settled in Rome, Italy. She goes every Sunday morning at Porte Portese, the famous flea market of Rome. After six years, Rome becomes too small and she decides to go to New York City. 6 months later, return to Rome then in 1991, she moved to Paris. She studied art history and became a guide of Paris.

In 1998, she is back in Italy, in Milan this time and works for the fashion designer Maria Calderara. In 2000, she settled permanently in Paris and works for the Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto. In January 2003, Gabrielle opened a vintage shop at Royal Palace in Paris. She carries all types of clothes, bags, jewelry, shoes and sunglasses. A selection always to her liking. The "hunt" spirit of flea markets revives in this shop.

Little by little, the store gets a new look and carries vintage items from major fashion houses. Hermes Chanel Yves Saint Laurent or Christian Dior live together now. The vintage luxe shop was born.

The taste of luxe and the knowledge of fashion accumulated all these years, brings Gabrielle to launch her own collection of accessories. A new way for her to express.
