Fuzzy's Grub is a restaurant chain located in London, England.

Contents

It offers traditional British food, being essentially a take-away carvery, specializing in roast meat meals and roast meat sandwiches such as a Sunday roast (Scotch roast beef, horseradish, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, pork crackling, etc.). It also serves pies (cottage pie, shepherd's pie, and others), salads and other traditional dishes.

The chain opened its first Fuzzy's in Fleet Street in 2002 and was set up by Fazila Collins and Georgina Laing, also known by the nicknames Fuzzy and Grub.

Decor

Fuzzy and Grub were always been keen to maintain the “Britishness” of the shops and the unashamed meat theme which was central to what they wanted to achieve. The shop interiors were based on old-fashioned butchers, with traditional tiled floors and walls. Paintings showing the various cuts of meat hung to inform the customer what part of the animal they were eating.

As of 2008, Fuzzy's was in danger of administration.

Locations

Fuzzy's started in Fleet Street, but in 2008 expanded to include a location in St. James's. The website shows two locations but visitors to Cornhill will find it closed with a note from the local council stuck to the door.

There are three restaurants still open currently in Mason's Avenue, Hounditch and one on Bow Lane.
