Future Media Architects (FMA) is an internet development company founded in 2002. FMA is primarily known for its large portfolio of internet domain names, estimated to exceed 120,000, and has faced several lawsuits.
The company was for a long time known for its staunch policy not to sell the domain names it owns; a policy at odds with that of most other domain name profiteers. It serves as the second greatest example of domain squatting (second to most "Domain Registrars") .
In 2014 FMA made headlines when it moved its registered names (some of which are among the most valuable on the Web) to Uniregistry for safekeeping. Some speculate this change signals a softening in FMA's position, not to sell its name assets.
The CEO of FMA now lives in London, UK. There are several legal cases which FMA is and has been involved in some of which seem to have propped up his company against his immediate family.
