Front Runners is a weekly half hour magazine show that originally aired on KOMO-TV in Seattle from 1986 to 1995. Hosted by Steve Pool and produced by Ken Morrison and Sharon Howard. The show was nationally syndicated from 1991–1995 and aired in more than 40 markets including New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. The program featured people from around the world who were among the best and brightest in their chosen pursuits. During its run, the Front Runners Staff, Ken Morrison Producer, Sharon Howard Co-Producer, Photographers/Editor Charles O'Farrel, Photographer/Editor Michael C.K. Murphy and Grip Danny Ibabaou, garnered more awards than any other show in Northwest history including scores of regional EMMYS and first place in The Chicago Film Festival, The New York Film Festival, Iris Awards, International Monitor Awards, New York Film Festival, The Houston Film Festival.
