Fritz Neumuller (14 March 1916 – 17 August 1944) was a highly decorated Leutnant in the Luftwaffe during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Fritz Neumuller was killed on 17 August 1944 over Baranow, Russia. During his career he was credited with flying 700 missions.
