Frieda Garcia has been a longtime community activist and leader in the South End and Roxbury communities of Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
Garcia was born in the Dominican Republic. She moved to Boston from New York in 1965. She served as executive Director of the United South End Settlement for 20 years and was one of the founding members of the Alianza Hispana. Frieda Garcia Children's Park at Clarendon and Stanhope streets in Boston's South End is named after her.
A portrait of Garcia which hangs in the South End House is featured on the Boston Women's Heritage Trail.
