Renaudin was one of six Bisson-class destroyers built for the French Navy during the 1910s.
During World War I, Renaudin was torpedoed and sunk in the Adriatic Sea off Durrës, Albania (41°17′N 19°22′E) by the Austro-Hungarian Navy submarine SM U-6 on 18 March 1916.
