The Free Port Act was passed in 1766 also in 1766 the Declaratory Act was passed with the Revenue Act of 1766 and more see list of acts of parliament and the Stamp Act was repealed with the Sugar act. The free port act stated that trade could be made with French and Spanish colonies. The free port act was a modified system in use by the French, and Dutch.
