Free Motherland (Armenian: «Ազատ Հայրենիք» կուսակցություն, Azat Hayrenik kusaktsutyun) abbreviated as ԱՀԿ or AHK is a political party in the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. The Party was formed on January 29, 2005. Initially, the Party consisted of four co-presidents: Arayik Harutyunyan, Arthur Tovmasyan, Rudik Hyusnunts and Arpat Avanesyan.

After the June 19, 2005 parliamentary elections the party won 12 out of 33 seats in the Parliament, both on direct and proportional electoral systems, (of which 37% were on proportional electoral system), by that time the faction "Hayrenik" has been formed.

After the 2010 parliamentary elections of the fifth convocation in NKR the party won 14 seats in the Parliament both on direct and proportional electoral systems, (of which 46,4% were on proportional electoral system), reforming the faction “Hayrenik”. The current head of the faction is Gagik Petrosyan.

All important decisions of the party are made up by the Central Council of 55 persons at either open or closed voting. “Azat Hayrenik” is a right-wing, centripetal party.

The official press of “Azat Hayrenik” Party is “Akunk” newspaper. The Party has also a page in Facebook - Ազատ Հայրենիք “Azat Hayrenik”.
