Frederik Heidmann (27 July 1777 – 17 October 1850) was a Norwegian military officer, civil servant and politician.
Heidmann was born at Skogn (now Levanger) in Nord-Trøndelag, Norway. He was born into an officer's family and trained for the military. In 1795, he became promoted to Second lieutenant and in 1803 to First Lieutenant with the Trondhjemske dragonkorps at Trondheim.
He represented the Trondhjemske dragonkorps at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. He was later a member of the Parliament of Norway during several sessions, and was President of the Odelsting in 1821. From 1821 he was district governor in Hedemark, a position he held until 1849.
