Samuel Frederik Bætzmann (16 October 1841 – 2 May 1913) was a Norwegian journalist. He was born in Trondheim, and was father of journalist Kitty Wentzel and father-in-law of painter Gustav Wentzel. From 1864 to 1865 he edited the periodical Illustreret Nyhedsblad. He worked for the newspaper Aftenbladet from 1867 to 1871, and for Dagbladet from 1871, including a period as reporter in Paris, and later a short period as editor-in-chief. From 1892 he was political editor of Aftenposten. He settled in Rome from 1908, and published the book Italiens frihedskamp in 1911. He died in Rome in 1913.
