Frederick Schomberg Ireland (6 April 1860 – 16 March 1937) was an English cricketer. Ireland was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm roundarm fast. He was born at Port Louis, Mauritius.

Ireland made his first-class debut for Kent against Hampshire in 1878. He played a further first-class match that season against Sussex. He next appeared for Kent in first-class cricket some nine years later in 1887, playing two matches against Middlesex and Lancashire. In his four first-class matches, he scored a total of 125 runs at an average of 17.85, with a high score of 87. This score was his only half century and came against Middlesex. With the ball, he took 3 wickets at a bowling average of 18.00, with best figures of 3/37.

He died at Menton, France on 16 March 1937. His nephew John Ireland also played first-class cricket.
