Frederick Cooper (8 August 1834 – 12 October 1908) was a politician in Queensland, Australia. He was a Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly.

His parliamentary career began in the Electorate of Cook, in North Queensland 5 March 1878 until 4 March 1884. He was a practicing barrister in Cooktown since 1874.

Frederick Cooper married Margaret Dalton Watson in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia on 16 Apr 1883, the daughter of mining magnate John Boyd Watson. His death occurred in November 1908.
