Fred Thomas (born June 27, 1958) is the Majority Leader of the Montana Senate.

Biography
Thomas was born on June 27, 1958 in Hamilton, Montana. His grandfather, Fred A. Thomas, was a member of the Montana House of Representatives. In 2009, Thomas became Vice President of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents.
Political career
Thomas was a member of the House of Representatives from 1985 to 1992. He became a member of the Senate in 1997, later becoming Majority Leader.
