Franz Frauscher (20 February 1920 – 17 June 1990) was a Hauptscharfuhrer, in the Waffen SS during World War II who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. This was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany during World War II.

Franz Fauscher was awarded the Knight's Cross in December 1944, when he was a platoon commander with the 4th Company, 2nd SS Panzer Regiment, Das Reich.
