Frank Ernest Smith (13 May 1872, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk – 3 December 1943, Sedbergh, Yorkshire) was an English first-class cricketer active 1893–1908. He played 68 games, and later umpired. As a player, Smith represented Surrey (awarded his county cap in 1894), London County and Transvaal. He was noted as a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. As an umpire, he stood in five Test matches between 1902 and 1910.
