Sir Francis Adams Hyett (1844–1941) was chairman of Gloucestershire County Council from 1918 to 1920. A portrait of Hyett by Hugh Goldwin Riviere is in Gloucester Shire Hall.

Hyett was a co-founder of the Marling School in Stroud.
