The Framée class was a group of four destroyers built for the French Navy at the beginning of the 20th century. One ship was sunk in a collision shortly after completion, but the others served during the First World War.

Ships

The first two were built at St Nazaire and the second pair at La Seyne-sur-Mer.

  • Framée - launched 21 October 1899, lost 11 August 1900.
  • Yatagan - launched 20 July 1900, collided on 3 November 1916 with the British merchant vessel Teviot and sank off Dieppe, Seine-Maritime.
  • Pique - launched 31 March 1900, stricken 28 January 1921.
  • Épée - launched 27 July 1900, stricken 1 October 1920.
