Fox Sports Australia Pty Limited (formerly Premier Media Group Pty Limited) is a subsidiary of News Corp Australia that owns sports-related television networks and digital properties. It owns Australian subscription TV channels Fox Sports, Fox Sports News and Fox Footy and a range of video, text and statistical content for television, mobile phone and online delivery.

In February 2012, Premier Media Group changed its name to Fox Sports, with CEO Patrick Delany explaining “The change from Premier Media to Fox Sports provides a stronger reflection of the core business of the company in its name, which is, and will continue to be, sport."

Fox Sports broadcasts an average of around 20 hours of live sport per day into 2.5 million homes around Australia on subscription television with six million potential viewers through Foxtel and Optus TV. The Fox Sports channels are also available in more than 5,100 hotels and licensed venues as well as 180,000 hotel rooms throughout Australia.

Fox Sports currently has broadcast rights for the AFL, NRL, A-League, Socceroos, English Premier League, Super Rugby, Wallaby tests, domestic and international cricket, Golf Majors, Tennis Grand Slams, Basketball and Motorsport.

On 2 November 2012, News Corp. took control of Consolidated Media Holdings after a $2 billion merger was approved by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), Federal Court and Consolidated Media Holding shareholders, making News Corp. 100% owner of Fox Sports Pty Ltd.
