History
Flush derived its name from Michael Floersch, a pioneer settler.
A post office was opened in Flush in 1899, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1927.
Education
Flush is a part of USD 323 Rock Creek Schools.
Flush schools were closed through school unification. The Flush High School mascot was Flush Rockets.
