Fluoroacetyl-CoA thioesterase (EC 3.1.2.29) is an enzyme with systematic name fluoroacetyl-CoA hydrolase. This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

fluoroacetyl-CoA + H₂O ⇌ fluoroacetate + CoA

Fluoroacetate is extremely toxic.
