Firsthand is a Canadian television point-of-view documentary series, which airs on CBC Television. The series premiered in fall 2015, replacing Doc Zone, after the CBC discontinued its internal documentary production unit. The series airs one documentary film each week, commissioned from external producers rather than being produced directly by the CBC.

The premiere episode featured the film "The Woman Who Joined the Taliban", about Beverly Giesbrecht. Other noted episodes have included "Omar Khadr: Out of the Shadows", a television edit of the theatrical documentary film Guantanamo's Child; "The Oka Legacy", an examination of the ongoing effect of the 1990 Oka Crisis; "Reefer Riches", about the increasing phenomenon of the legalization of marijuana; and "Perfect", which followed the Canadian synchronized swimming team in preparation for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
