Finding Eve is a not for profit organisation found in 2010 by Canadian born Becky Wong, and their headquarters are based in the northern suburbs of Sydney. The organisation focuses on educating Generation Y on the issues faced by women living under poverty, domestic violence and exploitation on their womanhood. Finding Eve provides an avenue for young people to get involved, in order to increase the voice of the cause.
The organisation often uses different methods in encouraging young people to get involved in their causes, including hosting gigs, and social events around the metropolitan area of Sydney to introduce media projects which help in delivering the message.
Finding Eve seeks musical acts and hosts other events by utilising the social media outlets, and tries to connect likeminded people to raise the awareness of the causes. Besides using social media, Finding Eve also sends out a monthly newsletter to provide information on any updates or news.
