Company History

FieldLens was founded in 2011 by Doug Chambers and Matt Sena. Chambers previously oversaw technical management for construction projects including The New York Times Building and Four World Trade Center.

FieldLens received seed funding from Quotidian Ventures in 2011, followed by 2 rounds of venture funding in 2012 and 2013.

FieldLens officially launched in March 2014 at the Conexpo-Con/Agg industry trade show. At the time of the launch, FieldLens had signed up more than 1,000 companies.

In May 2014, FieldLens announced an $8 million Series A funding round led by OpenView Venture Partners.
