Fatimah al-Sughra bint al-Husayn (Arabic: فـاطـمـة الـصـغـرى بـنـت الـحـسـيـن‎, Fāṭimah aṣ-Ṣughra bint al-Ḥusayn, 'Fatima the Younger, daughter of Husayn'‎) was a daughter of the Islamic Imam Al-Husayn ibn ‘Ali, and his wife, Umm Ishaq bint Talhah. It is believed that, at the age of 8, she was ill and left behind at Al-Medinah when Al-Husain took part in the Battle of Karbala’ (680 ACE). Eventually, she accompanied her aunt, Zaynab bint ‘Ali, to Ash-Sham, where she died. Her grave is believed to be in Damascus.
